Some tips for not wasting energy, water and time

I have been reading articles about the waste of time, money, energy and water is to rinse the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher...and more your dishwasher can damage sooner!

Here is the link..please take note of this you are doing something for the environment and saving money also!
http://shine.yahoo.com/event/green/should-you-pre-rinse-your-dishes-before-loading-the-dishwasher-1677291/

Also don't put to much detergent in your laundry, the excess of soap can damage it quicker, today the soap is more concentrate so use the amount that the label say...dirty cloths ...wash them with salt! and no conditioner please!  The conditioner damage this new microfibre cloth!

Refill your printer! Have you seen how expensive they had gone?
I refill them with a kit I buy in a store...but you can take them to different places that they do the job for less money that a new cartridge..and the quality at least of mine is very good!  I only change the cartridge when I have refill it some 5 to 6 times!

I use my bicycle for almost everything...by feet or cycle, I save money and get healthy...I am losing weight so I decide to do everything cycling ...I save money get healthy and will loose even faster!

Unplug electric that you are not using frequently, turn off the light, tv, radio etc if you are not using them...and go out more, walk, dance go to places walking in cycles ....the summer is beautiful enjoy it the best!

I am a crafter and enjoy doing things..for me the best way is instead of buy paper I buy CD or DVD ROM with graphics...why?  Because you only print what you need and I usually put several images in one page so I have less waste!.  And what is waste...I re use it to do something else!  You have seen the picture here!
I also think stamping is another way that help us not waste paper...Even a project I have in mind is doing more paper from my waste... although in winter I use it almost all in the fireplace...

Thing that you don't now what to do, take them to a charity shop...Red Cross shop accept even rags, the use that fabric and send it to Africa!
And re use your supermarket bags, don't litter, buy green stuff
Clean with vinegar and lemon!
I recently invested in a steamer cleaner...I haven't use any kind of chemical since that!  I thing that is a good investment they are several brands in the market with accessible prices...and they clean..everything!

And something new I saw in this days fleur a cup...a silicone base type of tampon that is reusable over and over again...I don't like to make commercial about anything but  I found this very interesting!

Well...is a lot for tonite!
And I have to keep on going!
Hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow
and Happy Father day!!!  Wepa!!!!

Paper Doll!!! My little mermaid!

Hello you out there!  Enjoy the summer ...hope you are...
Here is something I came up for the summer...is is fun...I make it like a card but you can do them as for kid or paste them in a stick...
Imagination is the key...is only one....I have some other in mind but for now the splashing mermaid!
Very easy to do...Although I design the head and the tail, I download for
free on the net a paper doll and you can use them as templates. From that template I use the body and the hands.  All made from cardboard, and leftover f/c paper. The rocks we use a piece of metal magic work that went wrong...but I never through anything away!  i have had that piece for month...and now I use it.  Also the happy b'day was from i card I made last year ...but I use a shoe box to put those pieces so when I need them...c...I have so much fun with her...Her name (I baptised her) Meriel...I use mini brad to hold together the hand head and tail...and in the tail I add a round thing that was from a hair clip the broke!
Hope you enjoy it...I need to learn how I can put stuff here that you can download for free....
I have all the templates..but don't know how to put it here for download...I need to learn...And wait for more ATC recycles...I love some ...I will post them soon....c ya...the sun came out !!!Wepa!!!!

ATC, Altered and Recycled!

Here are  some of the ATC I have been doing...I have been a little bit busy lately and the past summer days???  I didn't want to be at home!  I was outside in the sun!!!  So know back again in the house...jijijij...here are some of the ATC...hope u enjoy it!!!

The sweat pea atc, the base card is from a packet who have crackled image, so I cut it out and then I stamp sweat peas over a piece of white f/c paper leftover and painted and glue it over, the phrase  is stamp over the card.  The second one is also a stamp over a f/c leftover paper and cover up a cardboard.
The peas were stamp directly onto the cardboard and painted them I added a phrase.  The flower ones are made from a more soft packing paper, that I cut in an flower shape and painted i, the leaf are a wast of some card I was making and all is pastes over another cardboard.  I put a little gem in the middle and also I stamp over a little piece of acetate the butterfly.

This all were paste over different types of cardboard and the first one a tag (I cut it so it will be the same size) I use stamp to decorates them and the last one was using little pieces of leftover papers and the heart shape stamp I made it from a stamp I buy and the parts you cut out I use them to make circles and hearts and shapes...the heart jewels was a gift...I use for the 3 a card stamp I made from a very old card I found in my house...dating maybe from the 40's...if you notice I write the words here.

This one I paste an oriental figure I had over an art Deco waste-paper card that I make. The tank you is from another project and I use the jewels gift to make an embellishment. This I am using for a friend that gave me a nice gift without motive...and we have to be grateful for everything in life!

This one are paste over flyers ( commercial ones ) that came through my door.

The yellow sun and the coffee are stamps and even the word in this atc are from the original flyer.  The believe one is a stamp sun twice.  The flower was a papo stamp that when wrong, so I cut it in half and arrange it and stamp some little leaves and use a piece of paper I find in my bin....to be honest I have a pre-bin basket...I usually put here things I think I won't use...but I use that is why is my pre bin! JAJAJAJa....

ARTIST TRADING CARDS (ATC) and dragonflies...again

Hello everyone...nice day today!
A friend ask me if I can take better pictures and put them back again in my blog, so I am doing it now...(I still don't know how to erase the last one jijijijj).
As I say all this ATC I have made with waste ....I like to experiment and sometimes thing doesn't go how it was plan...but I never throw it away...almost all of this ATC are using thing that I was experiment with....so enjoy it!

For the backing of the dragonfly I use bit of glitter paper and glue them together...here is the back and front so you can see how easy it is ...and u use less!
I didn't have enough glitter paper for all the project so I tape waste of the one I had.

It goes well, and the one in the middle is shrink cardboard painted...it looks like fabric.

A promise is a promise...I hope you can see them better now!

I love hats!

She looks naughty...

This are leftover that I stamp, then I cut them out!
Well I think you an see them better!!! Anything mail me again!
Have a nice sunny evening!
